New to AAC? AAC stands for Augmentative and Alternative Communication. It covers every way people communicate besides (or along with) speaking: talkers and tablet apps, letter boards, picture cards, sign, and gestures. It’s not a backup plan. It’s a voice.
The design
Printed on the chest: the word “NONSPEAKING,” a red, teal, and yellow sound wave, and “not silent.” Dark ink, chosen to stay crisp and readable on every color we offer.
Fit and fabric
- Regular youth fit. Sizes XS to XL.
- Cozy Gildan 18000B air-jetted fleece: 50% cotton, 50% polyester, 8 oz.
- OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified fabric.
- Double-needle stitching on the shoulders, armholes, neck, waistband, and cuffs.
- Heads-up: the White color can look slightly off-white.

Width is measured flat across the chest, armpit to armpit. Length is from the highest point of the shoulder to the hem. Lay a shirt you love flat and compare.
Care
- Machine wash cold, inside out.
- Tumble dry low or hang dry.
- Don’t iron directly on the print.
